JOY! Magazine: October issue 2026

This month’s issue of JOY! Magazine is filled with powerful stories, Biblical teaching, and honest conversations about faith when life does not unfold the way we hoped. Our cover story features Tamsyn Gerrits, a young wife, mother, and businesswoman who shares openly about her journey through cancer and how, when so much was stripped away, she discovered afresh the faithfulness of God.

Inside this issue, we wrestle with some of the difficult questions believers face. Why does God allow sickness? How do we hold onto hope through grief and suffering? How can we read Scripture faithfully rather than pulling verses out of context? We also explore the importance of holy communion, building a secure identity in Christ, and finding Biblical encouragement when navigating troubled waters.

You will also meet the family of Max Immelman, whose 15 years and 11 months of life left an extraordinary impact on those around him. Alongside his story is a deeply moving message from J.John on faith and grief, powerful testimonies and mission reports from around the world, practical Bible teaching, and all your favourite JOY! regulars.

Don’t miss this deeply encouraging issue, available now at leading supermarkets nationwide or online at joygifts.co.za in both print and digital formats.
